Timer AI ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
- Account information: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address to create your account.
- Workout data: Timer configurations you create and workout sessions you complete are stored on our servers to sync across devices.
- Voice input: When you use the voice-to-timer feature, audio is sent to our server and processed by OpenAI's Whisper API to generate text. Audio is not stored after transcription.
- Microphone access: Used only when you actively record a voice timer or voice note. We do not record audio in the background.
- Purchase information: Subscription purchases are processed by Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We receive only your subscription status — no payment details.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and sync your timers and workout history.
- To generate AI-powered workout timers from your voice, text, or YouTube links.
- To manage your subscription and premium features.
- To maintain and improve the app.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers (AWS). We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Passwords are never stored — authentication is handled entirely by Apple and Google.
Third-Party Services
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account, which permanently removes all your data from our servers.
Children's Privacy
Timer AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
